“16 Carriages”

I’m not a drawer. Well I can draw but I don’t  paint/draw.

And on a canvas so constricted by size it’s even harder for me.

If you look carefully at the very beginning I had actually sketched a carriage onto the canvas in pencil… quickly hidden by the lush green.

I’m an abstract painter and so I don’t know who I was kidding when I began a painting art that was initially going to depict 16 carriages, inspired by the song to go along with Day 16 of this project.

So it got scrubbed half way through and became this.

Green and pink are another combo I love and maybe I went for the green background because I was drinking green smoothie whilst I painted! 💚🩷

I could have started again with something completely new but I’m showing myself here 100% …
